Find your drinking buddy (and maybe more)
Your Untappd check-ins tell a story. The person with 47 unique saisons, a soft spot for farmhouse ales, and a check-in at every taproom within 50 miles is a fundamentally different person from someone whose top-rated beer is Neck Oil.
Try the demoHow it works for craft drinkers
Link your accounts. Untappd, Vivino, Distiller - we pull your check-in history, style preferences, ratings, and venue data. Your raw data stays private. Only taste signals are shared.
The matching engine understands drinks at multiple levels:
- A beer belongs to a style, brewed by a brewery, checked in at a venue
- Matching happens across the hierarchy - shared styles, shared breweries, shared venue habits
- Check-ins per style is the engagement signal - one lambic is curiosity; 30 lambics is devotion
- Ratings matter - a 4.5 average on saisons tells us more than just "has tried saisons"
Your palate is your personality
Engagement + sentiment: The algorithm uses your check-in count per style (how often you seek it out) AND your average rating (how much you enjoy it). High check-ins + high ratings = genuine love. High check-ins + low ratings = you keep trying but it is not for you.
What gets scored
Your perfect pour is out there
Not "you both like beer." The actual tasting notes.
Taproom mode (planned)
One of the planned features is venue-based matchmaking - opt in at a taproom, brewery, or beer festival and see who else there shares your palate. Not replacing the dating experience, just adding a data layer to it.
Integrations
All opt-in. All revocable. Your check-in history is never shown to matches - only the compatibility signals.
Affinity Atlas is in development
No real matching yet. If you think craft beer compatibility should be a thing - or you have strong opinions about how style matching should work - get in touch. Cheers.
